Congratulations to the 2006-2007 Meadowcreek Chamber Orchestra
for their performance at the District 13 Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA)
Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE). By all counts, the orchestra gave an
energetic performance on Saturday February 24, and received a rating of
"Excellent" from the panel of 3 adjudicators. This was a significant step for
the orchestra since no Meadowcreek Orchestra has performed GMEA Level V music
for evaluation since 2003. The rating of "Excellent" is also impressive given
significant personnel changes at the semester break and increased performance
standards desired by the judges. Every member of the orchestra worked hard to
represent our school well, and did an exceptional job at LGPE. Way to go
orchestra!!!
